We engaged Joanne to design a boundary fence for our property on the coast of southern Tasmania. We didn't just want any old fence, it had to be something to complement the unique location of the property. We wanted it to include some special features, be secure but sympathetic to the natural environment.
Joanne took on the challenge, working with tricky topography, the local building contractors and to be honest some tricky clients, and delivered a design that exceeded our expectations. She took the headache out of dealing with approvals by liaising with Council on our behalf throughout the process.

Getting ready to sell a property was something I had no time and no concept of what needed to be done. The property was tired and still had multiple outstanding permits that had to be finalised with council and building surveyors.
Above everything else, the kitchen was stuck in the same year it was originally built.
By the time Joanne finished, the property was ready to sell, and had a new Kitchen that become the wow factor for the open home inspection. The property sold quickly and at a premium, well before the market was a sellers market. For anyone wanting to give their property a new lease on life or ready for selling, Joanne is the first person you need to call.

The phrase "can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" does not apply for what Joanne Crawley at Hive Building Design did for my investment property at Macquarie St, Hobart. Joanne had the vision and the capability to turn a redundant commercial space to a beautiful residential space in a very short timeframe with a tight budget.
Joanne can see the finished product before the project even begins. The property went from a perennial vacancy to a high demand Airbnb property.
